JIUFEN, TAIWAN

September 22, 2015

Jiufen is a mountainous attraction situated at the Rui Fang District in New Taipei City. We went there by cab.
Jiufen Golden Waterfall. It was called Golden Waterfall because the fall has a yellow hue from the copper and iron deposits. These deposits were passed through Jinguashi's old mines. It's so beautiful and we saw some couples came here for their wedding photoshoot. When we travel to Taiwan, I saw many people had their photoshoot at different tourist spots. The first outdoor photoshoot that I saw was at the Rainbow Village. There were a group of graduates had their graduation photoshoot at the village. It was cool. It also inspired me to have my own special graduation photos too. Lol. The second one was near this Jiufen Golden Waterfall.

Jiufen Old Street had lots of incredible snacks, food and traditional homemade snacks. We didn't try the local food at Jiufen Old Street because we had taken our lunch after we visited Yehliu. We felt so regret when we came here because we were so full we couldn't eat anymore. We just bought wintermelon tea. Lol. Fortunately, some shops provided free snacks for the tourist to eat. So, we didn't spend much money here.

Panoramic view of Jiufen. We felt so calm and serene when we were here.

I will definitely come here again for the night view. When you go to Jiufen, you must visit A Mei Tea House, get a nice seat and enjoy sipping cups of Taiwan's tea. It's like one of your to-do-list when you go to Jiufen. It's very bad because we didn't have the opportunity to do that.

Such an incredible view right? We could not enjoy the beautiful night view of Jiufen town due to our tight schedule. This can be another reason for me to revisit Taiwan again. *grin*
